2023 Spring Electronic Pickup
Spring Electronic pickup will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 9am-12pm at the town hall/fire station.
- Minimum of $1/item
- Tvs: 26" and smaller $11/tv, 27" and larger $22, $30/rear projection

Collection Information
Garbage and recyclables will be collected on Monday of each week on the North side (lake side) of Highway 22 and West side of Highways H and R. Collections on Wednesday of each week on the South side of Highway 22 and the rest of the town.
Place garbage at the end of the driveway by 6:00 a.m.
Beginning August 2023, all garbage should be bagged and placed in the new 96-gallon gray garbage carts for collection. All accepted recyclables (shown below) should no longer be bagged. Please place them loose in the new 96-gallon blue recycling carts. Please flatten cardboard boxes.
Materials Accepted in Your Blue Recycling Cart
- Flattened cardboard; paper; cartons; aluminum and steel cans; plastic bottles, jars, and jugs; and glass bottles and jars.
No spring clean up.
Large Items
Call (715) 304-6028 for information on large items. If you have a large appliance item to get rid of (No appliances with refrigerant (ex. refrigerator, freezer) place item out by the curb and it will be picked up by the end of the week. If the refrigerant has been removed from your large appliance there must be a tag from a licensed professional stating that it has been removed. No more than 2 items per week! Recycling
Glass-Plastic-Tin Cans
Rinse and leave caps on all containers. No light bulbs, dishes, etc. No motor oil containers and toys.
Aluminum Cans
Cans only.
Paper
Newspaper, junk mail, etc. should be bundled or placed in paper grocery bags.
Cardboard
Break down boxes.

Every Wednesday April through October 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
1st Saturday November through March 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Brush, clean wood, yard waste, seaweed only. No demolition materials.
Other Information
No ashes will be accepted.
All electronic equipment will not be accepted. These items can be taken to the Shawano Landfill by the owner.
However, there will be an electronic pick-up in April each year at the Community Hall.
