Notice is hereby given that Town of Washington will hold a public hearing on November 9th at 6:00 pm at the Cecil/Washington Town Hall, 111 E Hofman Street, Cecil, WI 54111. The public hearings will be held to gather public input on a proposed amendment to the Town of Washington Comprehensive Plan. The Town of Washington Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the Town of Washington Board on September 15th, 2008. The amendment includes updated demographic and community data, figures and tables, future and existing land use maps and official zoning map.

The proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments are available for review in the Planning & Development Department at the Shawano County Courthouse (311 North Main Street, Shawano, WI 54166) and on the Internet at www.co.shawano.wi.us. In addition, you may call Kari Hopfensperger at 715-526-4970 with any questions or to request additional information. Written comments on the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments should be submitted before November 3rd, 2021 to David Korth, Chairman. All written comments will be forwarded to the Town of Washington Board members.
