A meeting of the town electors, statutorily required to be held by each town on an annual basis.
• An opportunity for the electors to exercise their direct powers under s. 60.10, Wis. Stat.
• The required time for the board to present the annual financial statement to the town
• The electors may add items to the agenda from the floor at the start of the meeting
• The electors may vote to establish numbered supervisor seats (Supervisor #1, Supervisor #2, etc.)
• The electors may authorize the town board to appropriate $ for very specific purposes
- conservation of natural resources
- insect, plan, or animal disease control
- civic functions
• Board retains discretion over whether to actually spend the funds authorized
Town Board Meetings are typically held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Community Hall at 7:00 p.m. Unless otherwise posted.
Planning Commission Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at the Community Hall at 7:00 p.m.

Please include your phone number on your check or tax bill stub. (This is the treasurer's fastest way to contact you should an issue arise with your taxes and/or payment. Not including your phone number may delay your tax payment being processed.)
Tax receipts will only be returned if a self-addressed stamped envelope is enclosed
$25 fee will be charged for all NSF checks.

Credit card payments are not accepted during the months of November through February 20th. NO DOG LICENSE WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT PROOF OF VACCINATION.
- All dogs that are 5 months old and reside in the Town of Washington MUST BE LICENSED.
- Dog licenses must be paid in full by April 1st or a $5.00 late fee will be added to the total.
- Dog license tag and receipt will only be returned if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included with your application.
- Proof of Rabies Certificate will be returned to you with your dog tags and receipt.

Annual boat launch passes for the Town of Washington may be purchased at Lakeview BP & White Clay Lake Lodge in Cecil. Boat Launch passes may be used at Swan Acres Boat Landing on Shawano Lake, Pensaukee Lake, White Clay Lake and Korth Lake.
You may also purchase a permit by mail. Please send $30 and a self addressed stamped envelope to:
